Ireland bowl out UAE
Ireland bowled-out the United Arab Emirates for 306 in their second innings on the final day of their Inter-Continential Cup match in Abu Dhabi to secure victory by nine wickets. The Irish required 64 runs for victory and they reached their target for the loss of just one wicket, with opener William Porterfield’s knock of 40 not out enough to see his side home.Ireland now move into second place in the Intercontinental Cup table - they now have 49 points, 17 behind Kenya, with a game in hand.
